Here is my 4th weekly challenge submission using the birthday sketch. For this card I used Basic Grey Kioshi paper for the entire card. I used cuts from Straight From The Nest (presents) and Celebrate With Flourish (balloon and Happy Birthday. I used some bling from I-Rock. I also used Stickles on the presents (grape). It's hard to see on the photos but I used Olive Glitter Mist from Tattered Angels on the balloon and I used Olive and Pink Bubble Gum Glitter Mist on the Happy Birthday.

So in the spirit of Halloween I thought I would give something away. This is a new paper pack from Basic Grey called Wander. It has 18 double sided papers with one alphabet sheet and one card stock sticker sheet included. Also a pack of Wander brads containing 24 glazed brads to accentuate your paper pack. Okay so here is all I ask, post a comment about your favorite halloween candy you got as a child or that you "steal" from your child's collection! Add a link to your blog if you'd like to let others have a chance to win! If you want to take a closer look at the papers in the pack go to www.basicgrey.com! This is one of my favorite brands of paper so I thought I might get you hooked to! I will pick a winner tomorrow! Good Luck!

I made the mat for this picture using Basic Grey Kioshi paper. I cut filgree1 from Straight From The Nest as well as the word celebrate. The pearls are from Michael's and the orange rhinestones are I-Rock. The flowers are from SEI. The picture is from a recent girls trip with my mom and sister in Chicago. My sister just finished her doctorate as a pediatric nurse practitioner.

I did this layout today using SEI Spooky paper and pictures from Halloween 2008 of my daughter. I used the George Cart to make the frame on the top picture, French Manor Cart to make the window with vellum behind it and a candle in the window from Wedding Cart. The tree is from Celebrate with Flourish Cart as is the pumpkin.

This paper is also from Creative Imaginations. I cut the frog and lily pads from Create A Critter and the posy's (lily's) from Walk in My Garden. Stamp is from My Pink Stamper.
I created this card for this weeks challenge using Country Life cart for the chickens and Straight From The Nest for the Flourish's. I used a stamp from My Pink Stamper for "Chicks rock"

Think Pink Circle Challenge using Basic Grey Kioshi Paper. I pleated the bottom of the front of the card and then used some Making Memories Ribbon. I used the Birds on Parade cartridge to cut the butterfly and scallops. I used My Pink Stamper clear stamp for "Hang in there." I embellished with some bling I bought at Wal-Mart.

This is today's creation...I am really starting to get into the groove, but back to work tomorrow. So for today I made a card 4X6. I used SEI Sophia paper. The base is Sophia rum raisin. I layered on top of that some SEI velvet paper in Sophia amber, cutting that 3.75 in by 5.75 in. I wrapped a ribbon around it, that is also from SEI, but I don't know the name. I used Cricut Lite Hoot 'n' Holler to cut the owl <19> and the branch <1> with leaves and layered them. I used Sophia terra rosa on the chest of the owl and Sophia vanilla bean for the second layer. The base is Sophia rum raisin (same as card base) to get the feet and beak. I cut the owl 3.25 in. I cut the branch and leaves at 4. 5 inches. I cut it all together on my Gypsy. The pattern paper on the leaves is another velvet paper Sophia persimmon. I used plain white for the eyes and I accented with some bling, also from SEI. The letters were cut from Ashlyn's Alphabet with Sophia rum Raisin as the shadow and the opposite side of that paper which is a misty green color.

This card was made for the weekly Cricut Circle Challenge using the French Manor cartridge and embellishing with gemstones, pearls or jewels. On the outside of this card I used SEI Paper called Mimosa Mint Juep for the background. I cut the window and then cut out behind it and put velum so you could see through the card to the inside. I cut the bird using Robin and the layer for the branch. For the Robin I used SEI Mimosa Daiquiri. The strip across the top is SEI Mimosa Margarita. I used Heidi Swapp Pink Jewels to accent.
On the inside I used SEI Mimosa Guava for the background. I cut the Frame using French Manor and the paper is SEI Mimosa Margarita. I cut the model using the Forever Young Cartridge. She is model 17. I cut her dress out using SEI Mimosa Chartreuse. I used the Hanna Montana Cartridge to do the font on the front and the back. Although it is hard to see some of the paper has glitter and some is shimmery; that is how it came, I did not add anything to it.
The card is made so you can "peek" through it like the bird! Enjoy! Thanks for looking!
